- The first Wolf gram was issued from FT Benning, GA in March 1967. The author was Lt Allen Weseleskey.

- 800,000 rounds of fifty and thirty cal rounds fired

- During TET of 1968, 275 M60 barrels burned out. The squadron had to borrow barrels from a Marine unit in Da Nang. HMN-165 flew the emergency barrels to HA(L)-3 in an H46.
- HA(L)-3 was decommissioned in March,1972. Approximately 3000 men were rotated through the squadron. We have found, to date, 686 Wolves.
