Lend a hand where you can…
Warriors and friends,

We have begun in earnest the 2022 campaign season on Capitol Hill regarding saving Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC-85); formerly HCS-5 and HAL-5. It is time to put an end to these painful cuts to Navy reserve aviation. This is the third time in 7 years that the Navy has tried to disestablish the only remaining SOF support squadron. It’s time to ask for your help again.
Planned trip to Washington DC will be in early May; we are putting the finishing touches on several products that we will use to engage staff and members of congress. Our position going in has been that the US Navy is not in compliance with agreement made with House Armed Services Committee in 2015/2016 and endorsed by SECNAV and USSOCOM.
